We are students of IGCSE Global Perspectives and our topic is Health and Disease which is why we are working on Autism Spectrum Disorder Awareness as it is an issue on the rise which is why we have chosen it as the topic for our Team Project. Our aim is to promote awareness about this disorder in people so they learn to accept autistic people in society. Autism is a complex, lifelong developmental disability that typically appears during early childhood and can impact a person's social skills, communication, relationships, and self-regulation. People affected may find some aspects of communication and social interaction challenging. They may have difficulty relating to people and understanding their emotions. Autistic adults may also have inflexible thought patterns and behavior, and may carry out repetitive actions.  Such circumstances make them different, and they face various challenges throughout life. The biggest being feeling “alienated” or looked down upon by their peers and society. Making day to day life even more challenging for someone already affected.  We need to raise awareness, to achieve acceptance for people with Autism. Acceptance can lead to greater support, which is necessary for autistic people to reach their full potential. Autistic rights are Human Rights.

The purpose of this petition is not to deprive Muslim women of their basic rights. Veiling of Muslim women is part of their religion 'Islam' and no religion or country can deny it. I prepared this petition on the topic of "food wastage" as a part of our Team Project component. The purpose of this campaign is to raise public awareness about food wastage and how serious of a problem it is.Paradoxically, over one-third of the food produced for human use each year - around 1.3 billion tonnes - is wasted or squandered across the world. Not only are all of the resources used to produce the uneaten food wasted (land, water, labor, manufacturing, etc.), but when food waste goes to landfill, which is where the vast majority of it ends up, it decomposes without access to oxygen and produces methane, which is 23 times more deadly than carbon dioxide and causes air pollution and other disasters.According to a report, 40% of the food produced in Pakistan is wasted each year, amounting to 36 million tonnes, and 43% of the country's citizens are food insecure, with 18 percent experiencing severe food shortages, resulting in Pakistan being classified as a country with serious hunger levels.Sign this petition to:1. There is a proposed amendment bill in parliament by a section of members of parliament seeking to repel a section of the forest conservation and management act that protects the forests from boundary variations and excisions. This will open up the forests for grabbing and we will not only lose our water catchment areas but its will be a step backwards in the climate change fight. Water shortages will be rampant and this might trigger a scramble for the resource, human wildlife conflicts will get worse, some animal species will be wiped out completely. and the rainfall levels will keep decreasing. The act was put there to protect forests after a section of leaders ruined this delicate ecosystem in the 90s and early 2000 that saw an obscene overexploitation of the forests. We are now appealing to you to help by signing this petition to compel the lawmakers to be more mindful and protect the future by leaving the forests alone totally and instead lobby for laws that will see an increase in our forest cover and protect the environment. Muslims (followers of Islam – about 1.9 Billion people around the world) believe in One God – Allah, and his last messenger Prophet Muhammad – Peace be upon him, and the Holy Book, the Quran, that was revealed to mankind through Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The Quran is the direct Word of Allah and Muslims around the world respect it as such and show it the utmost reverence. The writing on the so-called rug is called Surah Al-Ikhlas and is in fact the 112th chapter of the Quran. While we appreciate it that the manufacturer was taken by the beauty of the Arabic calligraphy used to depict this text, it is highly disturbing to see it displayed on a rug which is designed to be walked upon. Overseas contribution with high remittances and with smart phone applications like Western Union, Xoom and Remitly injecting the much-needed stimulus into the economic jugular that was much needed – Pakistan’s potential is unlocked. Most recent development is that Amazon has tapped into Pakistan market of 220 million population, Paypal can be a key business integrator. Let me list just some of the reasons why PayPal and Pakistan will make a powerful team: InfrastructureThere is a built-in marketplace for money exchange services that currently have a foothold in the market, but PayPal can step into that market share through its robust foundation that is already established worldwide. Connectivity compliments economic growth like no other. Furthermore, while it will have capital to compete with others, this is not a market that can be ignored. Through better financial options and service access this could potentially be one the kind  game changers that we all seek in a new post COVID world. EconomyCNBC recently reported Pakistan as 4th country (after USA, UK and Brazil) for freelance work, a major driver for online payment portals.  A large growing economy, a younger population and booming telecommunication sector(more on this later), this is a recipe of success and if these were not cues enough for PayPal to enter Pakistan, rest assured after the entry of Amazon into the Pakistan online space, this will be inevitable. Amazon has nodded to add Pakistan to its approved sellers’ list, a huge development that is being seen as a major boost to the country’s e-commerce industry. Amazon’s sellers’ list will create opportunities for the exporters to sell their products through the platform, which provides a potential business case/proposition for PayPal in the longer term. The UAE has a glaring and growing problem with stray cats and dogs (Their numbers are huge, and escalating rapidly, with an estimated 100,000 cats and dogs living on the streets in Abu Dhabi alone and tens of thousands more in Dubai.) This situation is caused because the Government does not offer free TNR services itself, or allow anyone to establish animal rescue organizations ti carry out TNR or take the strays off the streets to re-home them. Veterinary clinics have also recently been prohibited from carrying out neutering operations on strays. Instead the government of United Arab Emirates chose: + to poison or abandon the homeless cats and dogs in desert areas - without water, shade, or food (with temperatures over 40 degree C) - to let them die slowly+ to fine residents and tourists 500 AED for feeding strays+ to fine volunteer animal rescue organisations 50,000 AED and forcing them to shut down all their social media accounts.  What is it like to be a Strays in UAE ? Strays are collected by the Municipality and either abandoned in the desert in extreme heat without water and food or taken to the nearest KILL SHELTER. Plus the Municipality has a putting POISON in the water bowls across UAE! + Residents & Tourists demand the government of the United Arab Emirates STOP POISONING HOMELESS CATS and DOGS!   + Residents & Tourists demand the government of the United Arab Emirates change all KILL SHELTERS in the UAE to NON KILL shelters. To provide all abandoned stray cats and dogs the chance to get adopted and to live! + Residents & Tourists demand the UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment place feeding stations for the strays instead of collecting and killing them or abandoning them in the desert without food, water or shade!  + Residents & Tourists demand the UAE government provides free of charge TNR services to stop the stray population growth and further suffering of homeless strays. + Residents & Tourists demand respect and compassion for strays trying to survive in the UAE under harsh climate conditions and free of charge veterinary services for injured strays.

Palestine does not appear on Google maps. Why not? Israel, established on Palestinian land, is clearly designated. But there is no mention of  Palestine. According to Google, Palestine does not exist. The omission of Palestine is a grievous insult to the people of Palestine and undermines the efforts of the millions of people who are involved in the campaign to secure Palestinian independence and freedom from Israeli occupation and oppression. This is an important issue, as Google Maps are now regarded as definitive by people around the world, including journalists, students and others carrying out research into the Israel-Palestine situation. Whether intentionally or otherwise, Google is making itself complicit in the Israeli government's ethnic cleansing of Palestine. Please join us in calling on Google to recognize Palestine in Google Maps, and to clearly designate and identify the Palestinian territories illegally occupied by Israel.
