Palestine does not appear on Google maps. Why not? Israel, established on Palestinian land, is clearly designated. But there is no mention of  Palestine. According to Google, Palestine does not exist. The omission of Palestine is a grievous insult to the people of Palestine and undermines the efforts of the millions of people who are involved in the campaign to secure Palestinian independence and freedom from Israeli occupation and oppression. This is an important issue, as Google Maps are now regarded as definitive by people around the world, including journalists, students and others carrying out research into the Israel-Palestine situation. Whether intentionally or otherwise, Google is making itself complicit in the Israeli government's ethnic cleansing of Palestine. Please join us in calling on Google to recognize Palestine in Google Maps, and to clearly designate and identify the Palestinian territories illegally occupied by Israel. Many of you will know it: The "Just Chatting" category on Twitch.tv regularly becomes a venue for pornography that can be viewed and financially supported by minors without any restrictions. In exchange for donations, subscriptions and bits (a separate currency on Twitch), the women make certain movements or write the names of the users on their bodies. These are often the streams with the highest numbers of viewers on Twitch.  So far, Twitch does nothing against this kind of pornography and earns a huge amount of money with it. It cannot be that a gaming platform allows content of a pornographic nature and does not prevent it. This content encourages female Twitch streamers to be degraded to sex objects, regardless of their own content. There is also no way to protect young visitors to Twitch! Twitch must react! I call on those responsible to remove pornographic content from the platform, as it has nothing to do with the original gaming platform. Alternatively, a +18 category could be introduced, which can only be viewed with prior age verification, as is already common on other platforms with pornographic content. My name is Timo, I am 16 years old and I am a passionate streamer on Twitch myself. I like to look for new interesting streams in the evening. For some time now, I've been coming across the "Just Chatting" category, mainly lightly dressed Twitch streamers who (partly) let themselves be paid by minors to do certain things. I would like to campaign for something to be done about this exploitation of Twitch ToS and for underage users to be protected from it.Support my petition now with your signature and share the petition in your networks!

As Pakistan may face water scarcity by 2050. A survey conducted by a international organization tells us that Pakistan wastes about ten trillion gallons of water per year.Poor water management in Pakistan is causing high water waste within the agriculture sector. Pakistan has an inefficient irrigation system that causes a 60 percent water loss. In addition, Pakistan has low water productivity in comparison with other countries. Water scarcity in Africa is predicted to reach dangerously high levels by 2025. It is estimated that about two-thirds of the world's population may suffer from fresh water shortage by 2025. The main causes of water scarcity in Africa are physical and economic scarcity, rapid population growth, and climate change. So it's the duty of the worlds population to save water as water is the main source of survival and if there is no water left it will be a major threat to the world. We need to think about the future and the threats which might effect the world in upcoming years. This petition is all about how to conserve water in the best possible way.

I prepared this petition on the topic of "food wastage" as a part of our Team Project component. The purpose of this campaign is to raise public awareness about food wastage and how serious of a problem it is.Paradoxically, over one-third of the food produced for human use each year - around 1.3 billion tonnes - is wasted or squandered across the world. Not only are all of the resources used to produce the uneaten food wasted (land, water, labor, manufacturing, etc.), but when food waste goes to landfill, which is where the vast majority of it ends up, it decomposes without access to oxygen and produces methane, which is 23 times more deadly than carbon dioxide and causes air pollution and other disasters.According to a report, 40% of the food produced in Pakistan is wasted each year, amounting to 36 million tonnes, and 43% of the country's citizens are food insecure, with 18 percent experiencing severe food shortages, resulting in Pakistan being classified as a country with serious hunger levels.Sign this petition to:1. On Tuesday, we lost our brother 12 years old Sylvester Oromoni Jnr. He was a son, grandson, brother, cousin, uncle to his little nieces, he was a friend , he meant everything to us and Yes he was only a child an innocent child . He was taken from us from in the most gruesome of manner beaten by senior 5 boys in his hostel in Dowen College lekki Lagos state. He was tortured by these boys in his school and compelled to silence otherwise they threatened to kill him. This torture and beatings lead to injuries unimaginable and the school authorities without proper duty of care took his agony at face value and claimed he had a fall playing soccer. Without proper investigation or care they called his parents to pick him up. The family upon seeing their once healthy vibrant child knew this pains and injuries were beyond a domestic fall. The child could barely articulate words and move without these heart wrenching painful sounds. Sylvester Jnr reported to the family he did not fall as alleged by the school. He said he was beaten and tortured by 5 senior students and mentioned their names. The students are from influential families and the school is trying to bury the case. Sign and help us find justice for Sylvester Oromoni Jnr. Nearly 2,000 patients are waiting to receive radiation treatment for cancer at Charlotte Maxeke Hospital in the province of Gauteng. With an increase in cancer incidence nationally, this is unacceptable because it leaves patients at risk of potentially losing their lives due to long waiting periods. Most patients in the public sector are diagnosed with late stage disease that requires more complex treatments including chemotherapy, radiation therapy and a combination of the two. The increase in the number of diagnosed cancer patients however does not come with an increase in the budget to accommodate new equipment and more appropriate health care professionals.  Radiation Treatment at Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital( CMJAH) has been in crisis for at least 5 years. The ideal is to treat patients within three (3 months) after diagnosis. At CMJAH the current equipment and health care professionals are not adequate to treat the number of patients requiring treatment timeously. This means that the patient numbers far exceeds the supply (of treatment equipment time and oncology professionals), which as anyone with a basic understanding of economics will understand will lead to waiting lists for treatment. This has now resulted in a backlog of several years. COVID-19 and the recent fire at CMJAH has added further demand to an already stressed Oncology service (Medical and Radiation Oncology), negatively impacting treatment outcomes for patients. Backlog at Charlotte Maxeke is a long list: Prostate cancer patients have been waiting for +/- 5 years. Over 1 000 men are on the list awaiting potentially life-saving radiotherapy. Breast cancer patients have been waiting for more than one year. About 500+ patients are affected. Some patients are diagnosed with a recurrence of their breast cancer before they receive the radiotherapy which could have potentially prevented the recurrence.  This also incurs further cost for Government as they require 2nd line chemotherapy and surgery before they are eligible for radiation treatment Cervical cancer patients have been waiting for approximately 4-6 months. About 300 patients are affected.  Palliative care waiting list for treatment is 2-4 weeks.   Please sign this petition to ask Premier Makhura and MEC for Health, Dr Nomathemba Mokgethi, and CEO of Charlotte Maxeke Hospital, Ms Gladys Bogoshito: publicly acknowledge the Cancer crisis at CMJAH  establish a Task Team that will attend to these matters. Civils Society (Cancer Alliance and Treatment Action Campaign) is to be represented on this Task Team, along with appropriate technical experts, to advise and oversee the procurement of the required radiation equipment and services. The Task Team is to determine an integrated plan within 30 days after 4 February 2022 – World Cancer Day.  direct communication to all affected patients about their treatments. Civil Society is willing to assist with this process. It will require that we are given access to patients’ folders and their proposed treatment plans.
